The first durable skid plate for the YFZ! Quad Tech-ATV team riders Keith Little and Kory Ellis wanted skid plates that fit like stock but lasted like the heavy and rattling (but durable) aluminum units that are available. They also wanted to use the high quality OEM screws and have only two holes for oil changes. To say the least their needs were met. After much testing by Ellis and Little Quad Tech-ATV delivered them the first production carbon skid plates to round 1 of the 2005 ATVA GNC MX Series. By round 2 Keith Little sailed to a commanding 1-1 victory with the carbon skid plate intact. Our super light skid plate is produced using specially formulated carbon fiber, that is digitally water jet cut for a precise fit and is guaranteed to withstand the abuse of pro national riders.
